Dagenham B 1
Wadham 3
(Echo League U13s)
THIS was a hard fought win thanks to two late goals from Marcelo Tebbani-Maya.
In a tight game Wadham went one behind thanks to a right wing cross onto the head of the onward forward. They had previously had a goal disallowed for offside. Just before half time Goksal Rifat went close with a free kick.
A well worked corner from Jack Cookson and a flick from the head of Charlie Cooper was cleared as far as his own goal by a Home defender.
Constant pressure paid dividends late in the game as Jack Cookson who worked tirelessly throughout the game made space for Tebbani-Maya to coolly beat the Keeper.
As the game came to a closure Marcelo latched onto a cross at the back post to send the visiting supporters wild.
Outstanding performance from Cameron Flavien-Nicholas who shadowed Dagenham's best player and the team in general stood up to everything that the home team could throw at the visitors.
A great result from a solid team performance.

WITH a three goal lead at half time Wadham showed no mercy as they ran out seven goals to the good.

UPR B 1
(U10s Challenge Cup Trophy - Semi-Final)
WADHAM reached the finals with a magnificent win against UPR B.
Wadham took an early lead thanks to D'Jovan Carvalho, running down the line and cutting in to squeeze past the visiting Keeper, but with end to end stuff the score remained one nil at half time.
UPR were quick to respond in the second half scoring to equalise with a fine header and then nearly took the lead when home Keeper Peter Hart stood tall to parry a firm shot.
At the other end Billy Golledge went close on two occasions, but it was left to Cardell Flavien-Nicholas to score a superb winning goal to take Wadham to the Final of the Challenge Trophy.
The home Defence kept strong from Joseph Leo, Daniel Muamba, and Tommy Goswell but Manager Andrew Nicholas was quick to praise the whole squad for an outstanding display.
