REDBRIDGE remain in contention for a top three place at the Essex County Swimming Championships after another set of impressive results in the third block of the competition.
Chris Inch was perhaps the pick of the local swimmers with two first places.
He first swam to victory in the 1500 free and 400 individual medley, while he also picked up second place finishes in the 100 breast and 400 free, clocking best times along the way.
He was run close by Emily Cole, however, who triumphed in the 1500 free and and 100 fly, as well as gaining a third (100 back) and a sixth (200), all in personal best times.
Phoebe Hayes was also in fine form, setting an Essex county record in the 1500 free and winning the 200 back, while she also claimed a second and third place finish.
Kelsey Richards won the 1500 free and was third in the 100 back, while Sophie Copper swam well for two runners-up places and a third.
Charlie Dentith grabbed two seconds and three thirds in a busy schedule, and Dean Smith recorded PBs in all of his races.
Lawrence Brown set a massive 30 second PB in the 1500 free, as well as several others, while Jessica Lambert also bettered her previous times in a number of events.
Ivan Georgiev was second in the 400IM and also claimed two sixth-place finishes.
Frank McGuirk earned himself a 20 second best time in the 400 free, finishing fourth, as well as fifth place in the 200.
Johanna Lindblom recorded new best times and was fifth in the 100 back.
Fraser Scott set a huge 30 second PB in the 400 free on his way to fifth, while he was also fifth in the 200 free.
Caitlin Robinson earned fifth and sixth place finishes, Grace Wingrove was sixth (1500), while Hayley Golightly and Ellie Bedwell both set new best times, while Ciara Purcell, Charley Bird, Eloise Montanana were in flying form in the 200 breast.
Adam Gillard, Tom Beadle, Jonathan Worby, Samuel Kelly, Kieran Holdbrook and Alex Hayman set new PBs, while Chris Stamp, Kyle Hall, Claire Golightly, Sadie Lucas and Kenneth Man also swam well.
