HILL hosted Romford Royals who were also in need of the points to ensure premiership survival for next season.
The game started at a real fast tempo and Hill were quickly on the attack. Chris Coveney running at the Royals attack unleashed a fierce shot that the keeper did well to parry. Arun Olivelle following up somehow managed to hit the underside of the bar from two feet out and the ball crashed down and Royals defence managed to clear. A big let off.
The half became a midfield battle until just before half-time when Hill were awarded a free kick on the left wing.
Ryan Mooney shaped to shoot but chipped in a ball which Olivelle flicked in with his head for 1-0 and a well taken goal.
Hill made some changes at the interval and started to really move the ball well.
Romford well still capable on the break and keeper and Captain Michael Corderoy was quick off his line to tidy up.
Hill then scored a second which they had been threatening when Coveney hit a shot that deceived the keeper with a bounce just in front of him and in off the post.
Hill then scored a fantastic passing goal which was a joy to watch. Corderoy rolled the ball out to Cameron Weekes who played the ball down the line to Darryl Wantaate. He played a ball up to striker Dominic Edwards, and he in turn laid the ball back to Oliver Williams, whose first time ball spilt the Romford defence for Olivelle to cut inside before hitting a shot in off the post for 3-0 to Hill.
Romford to their credit never gave up and a great shot from their midfielder was heading for the top corner only for Corderoy to make a great save tipping over the bar.
