Waltham Forest ladies bounced back from the previous week’s defeat in style on Saturday by thrashing Welwyn Garden City.
Forest held the majority of possession throughout the match, and they made the pressure tell with an early goal. Midfielder Mandy Briggs produced a cracking strike to open her account for the season from the edge of the circle.
They found a second when Sue Moore pounced after good work from Emma Livingston-Jones and Kathryn Tucker.
Gill Fraser nutmegged the keeper and captain Ayleen Duske flicked in a close-range fourth.
