Harold Hill 1
Wadham 3
(Echo League U9s)
WADHAM travelled to Harold Hill in a must win game to keep in touch with the leaders.
Wadham started on the back foot with Hill taking the game to Wadham and only some great defending from Luke, Dante and Ryes and two superb saves from Sam in goal stopped them from taking the lead.
Wadham finally found their feet and with some great midfield play from Max, Bradley and Dante started to create some chances.
A Wadham break with a nice back heal from Bradley in to the path of Riley whose shot fired in to the back of the goal gave Wadham a lead 1-0 at half time. The second half started the same as the first with the home side having the best of play and scoring a good goal to draw level.
Wadham made some changes with Shania coming on for the injured Dante and the game swung in our favour with a number of chances falling for Max, Bradley and Riley.
And with Demtri man marking their striker Wadham broke and a lovely chip from outside of the box from Bradley put us 2-1 up. Wadham continued to press and a pinpoint corner from Luke was meet on the volley by Bradley to give Wadham a 3-1 lead. Today the team showed what a great spirit and a never say die attitude they have created in this outstanding team of players.
Both teams played their part in what was a very competitive game well done to both teams. MOM the whole team for an outstanding team performance.

Wadham 1
Jays B 4
(Echo League U13s)
THE scoreline never really reflected the effort that Wadham put in against table topping Jays B.
From kick off the home side went at Jays and gave them the fright of their life as two quick chances were squandered but Wadham kept the pressure up and was rewarded with a Bryan Bontamba goal as he ran from deep to score following good midfield play from Cameron Flavien-Nicholas, Kerim Ali and Jamie Goode.
Jays are not top of this Division for a reason as they came back strong having a disallowed goal for a push on a defender followed by an equaliser and then taking the lead after a fantastic save from MOM Joe Cooper.
It was pretty much backs to the wall for Wadham as the visitors showed their superiority as Keeper Cooper kept Wadham in it with some quality saves.
Defenders Charlie Cooper, Srinivass Bimalraj, James Dobran, Marcelo Tebbani-Maya and Thomas Hudson worked hard at the back but eventually Jays ran out 4-1 winners.
Couple of chances fell to Jack Cookson who worked hard for the team and Bontamba but it was not to be their day.
Team: Joe Cooper, James Dobran, Marcelo Tebbani-Maya, Cameron Flavien-Nicholas, Charlie Cooper, Srinivass Bimalraj, Jamie Goode, Kerim Ali, Jack Cookson, Bryan Bontamba, Jack Southward, Thomas Hudson, Robert R, James Wright, Jack Draper.
