REDBRIDGE Swimming club reaped the rewards of hard graft as they finished third overall after the last block of the County Championships.
The local club had swam their way into contention with several eye-catching collective displays, and it was youngsters Chris Inch and Charlie Dentith who stole the show on the final day of competition.
The pair achieved national qualifying times in their respective events, while Inch enjoyed a stunning quintuple win.
The 16-year-old was top for his age group after terrific victories in the 100 fly and 200 back – both of which were achieved with national times – while he also went on to win the 100 Individual Medley, 200IM and 100 free.
Dentith earned his NQT in the 400 free whilst finishing second, while he was also first in the 200 fly. Kelsey Richards finished as the top girl in the 15-year-old age group after winning the 400 free, along with several other excellent performances.
Ivan Georgiev was the pick of the boys, winning the 100 fly and 100IM. Dean Smith won the 100IM, Ben Hollis triumphed in the 100 free, while Phoebe Hayes won the 400IM.
Emily Cole also delivered a series of impressive races, while there were a number of other notable displays.
