UPR 'A' 3
Senrab 'A' 1
THIS was an outstanding game of football and a good advert for the under 13's Echo League 'A' division.
UPR were awarded a penalty in the 3rd minute, and converted to go 1-0 ahead. Senrab felt hard done by with the penalty award but pressed on and felt unlucky to reach the break still a goal down.
Senrab continued to play some really good football after the break but it was UPR who made it 2-0 after a forward ran on to what looked like a lost cause and put the ball past the advancing Senrab keeper.
A fine header to make it 3-0 looked to kill the game off, but still Senrab pressed on. Scott Harris pulled a goal back for Senrab 10 minutes from time and two minutes later Jordan Wellington-Emile shot just wide. A frantic finish from Senrab came to nothing as UPR defended really well.
Myles Croxford and Daniel Nimoh-Badu were both in execellent form for Senrab.
Senrab; Hession, Collier, Croxford, Sesay, White, Brown, Edgar, Smallwood, Elliman, Kizza, Harris, Wellington-Emile, Nimoh-Badu
