WADHAM’S under 10s are champions of the Echo League with a game to spare after beating Bardag 2-0.
The youngsters started slowly on the day, but after hitting the post, they were spurred into action, with D’Jovan Carvalho notching a goal to put his team in front.
Tommy Goswell was holding things together in midfield, and Carvalho was able to double his tally to put the game beyond doubt, sparking scenes of jubilation at the final whistle.
Elsewhere Wadham U8s played Leaside Colts and Ryan Clarke scored twice.
The U9s lost to Byron Red Star 2-1, while the U15s went on the rampage, beating Lea Valley United 9-2 with man-of-the-match William Gleeson outstanding. On target were Evandro S.M (2), Luke W (2) and William G, Aaron F, Sean C, Kadeem B and Kieran K.
