MARK Arber has signed a new two year deal but Sam Saunders and Ben Strevens look set to depart Dagenham and Redbridge.
The 32-year-old defender joined Daggers from Stevenage Borough two seasons ago while despite taking time to establish himself in the side has now become the club's captain.
He was a fixture at the back last term making 42 appearances in League Two last season, scoring three goals.
The new deal will keep him at Victoria Road until the end of the 2011 season.
However, both Ben Strevens and Sam Saunders have refused to sign extensions to their current deals fuelling speculation that the pair will soon be heading out the Dagenham exit door.
Daggers boss John Still recently signed Danny Green from Bishop's Stortford on a free transfer, who plays in the same right midfield position as Sam Saunders fuelling speculation that the former Welling United man could be heading to pastures new.
He said recently he would not stand in the way of the pair leaving.
Striker Strevens, who scored 14 goals last season, is rumoured to be headhunted by Stockport, Bury, Huddersfield and Exeter while Dagenham had their best ever finish after failing to secure a playoff place when they were pipped by Shrewsbury Town on the last day of the season.
