LEYTON’S MSMA karate kids breezed to an impressive haul of wins at a prestigious Kata competition recently.
The team, led by head coach Bill McLeod, demonstrated an array of attacking and defensive qualities on their way to the team title and also registered a number of singles victories.
Ahmed Noor kicked things off with victory in the purple and brown belt category, before Yaqub Khichane triumphed in the blue and green belt.
Abraar Amin (orange) and Abdel Rahim (yellow) also won their individual competitions.
Finally, a classic demonstration from the team of Noor, Rahim, Abdel Aziz-Zahmoul, Yasir Hassan Ali, Selcuk Deste, Ousama Tadjerout, Ousama Djemoui and Fudhail Kelali ensured they walked away with winners medals on the day.
