WEST Essex won the toss and elected to bat first in this local derby.
The Rolls Park boys started strongly with their opening pair putting on a partnership of over 100.
Youngster Farhard Saleem scored a fantastic 72 and Hijaz Baig a majestic 53.
The middle order all contributed as West Essex declared early at 232-8 off 46 overs.
Woodford Green played the game in the right spirit and chased the runs hard but the pace bowling of Irfan Riaz (3-43) and the subtle skills of spinning duo Neil Dial (3-30) and Julian Joy (2-12) proved too much as they were bowled out for 210.
So another West Essex win means they pick up another maximum 20 points two weeks in a row and move up to fourth in the table.
