ELAINE O’Neil, Kim Murray and Hannah Frankson recorded personal bests at the Bedford International Games with Woodford Athletics club, last weekend.
O’Neill was third in the 200m event and her time of 23.58s was a second personal best of the season.
Also setting personal bests were Murray, who recorded 6.08m for third in the long jump, and Frankson, who recorded 12.86m for third in the triple jump, Meanwhile, young members in Basingstoke were in third round action at the National Young Athletes Southern Premier League.
Strong performaces brought a second place finish for Woodford.
The result should see WGEL rise up the league table and leapfrog Aldershot and Team Dorset.
