A 18-YEAR-old running for Woodford Green Athletics Club with Essex Ladies won a 200m title race at a competition in Watford.
Junior Ejehu achieved a 21.36 seconds finish after qualifying with a personal best of 21.30 in the semi-finals, which equalled the "A" standard qualifying time for the European Under-20 Championships.
Zainab Ceesay grabbed a gold medal in the triple jump with a season's best of 13.04m at the South of England Championships.
Kim Murray took gold in the women's long jump with 5.96m while Ezekiel Ewulo won the men's competition with 7.14m.
Sarah Smith achieved a double success, winning the under-20s hammer throw with an effort of 47.48m and she also picked up a bronze in the senior event following a throw of 48.61m.
On the track Georgie-Lou Sales also achieved gold in the Under-20s 3000m with a personal best of 9 minutes 54.70 seconds.
Ronnie Sparke continued his fine form as he took the Under-20s 1500m with 3 minutes 52.58 seconds while training partner Alex Cornwell picked up a bronze with 3 minutes 54.44 seconds.
In the shot putt Anthony Oshodi received a silver medal after achieving a personal best of 17.70m, breaking his own club junior record and moving him up to 14th on the UK all-time list.
This is the first time he has competed in the Under-20s shot put age category.
There were also silver medals for Jo Duncan, who achieved a season's best of 15.20m in the shot putt, while Alistair Williamson finished runner-up in the senior hammer throw with 59.29m and Peter Clarke in the Under-20 event with 61.58m.
Eugene Ayanful scooped a bronze medal after achieving a personal best in Under-20s 100m with 10.70 seconds.
Meanwhile, numerous athletes from Eton Manor travelled to Mile End to take part in an athletics competition on Sunday.
Georgia Green won the A race 70 meters hurdles with a personal best of 11.8 seconds for a UKA grade one performance.
Sade Brown also achieved a personal best of 15.3 seconds in B race of the same competition.
Green also won the A string high jump with 1.29m.
In the boys Under-13s, Michael Taylor won the high jump with a personal best of 1.29m. He then finished in second place with Alex Solomon in the 75m hurdles, finishing 15 seconds and 16.2 seconds respectively.
