TWO young triathletes took part in the British Triathlon National Championships at Hyde Park over the weekend.
Becky Hewitt, 17, from Woodford and Armanni Antoine Chaggar, 14, from Walthamstow were up against some of the best young triathletes in the country.
Despite both being the youngest in their age groups, they were delighted to make the top ten.
Armanni finished sixth in the 15 to 16 age group, completing the 325m swim, 10 km bike ride and 3km run in an impressive 44 minutes and 38 seconds.
Becky was tenth in the 17 to 19 age group over the longer distance of a 750m open water swim, 20 km bike ride and 5km run, completing the test in One hour and nine minutes.
