JAMES Bigland beat Joe Woolerton 5-7, 6-1, 6-3 in the U18 boys' final at the Avenue Junior Tennis Open in Loughton.
Sabena Butt triumphed in the girls' competition, beating Albina Yanko 6-1, 6-0, while the U14 girls' singles final was also hotly contested, with Caitlin Hardy overcoming Butt 3-6, 6-4, 6-4.
Connaught player Tony Akbari reached the final of the U14 boys'
competition, but was beaten by Jamie Wright.
However, he teamed up with Wright to beat Phillipe Herman and Paul Meaden 6-2, 6-2 to win the U14 men's doubles.
In the U10 girls' singles final, Emily Carrington beat Tanisha Schumacher, while Seye Adegbite won convincingly against Kayleigh Griffiths in the U12 girls' singles final.
Matthew Hollis won the boys' U12 title, defeating Alex Schumacher.
