REDBRIDGE swimming coach Paul Robbins has been rewarded for his hard work by being named coach of the year in London for disability swimming.
The coach worked closely with multi-world record holder and world champion Craig Moate for two years, helping propel the talented swimmer to records in both the 800m and 1500m.
There was even better news for Robbins, as it was announced that he had been selected as head coach for England’s Talent programme for youth swimmers, where he will lead 20 of the most promising swimmers in the country.
Redbridge assistant head coach Gary Inch was also recognised when he was handed a place on the Essex county programme.
