SQUASH enthusiast Carey Adams won the chance to train with former world number one Peter Nicol at Epping Sport Centre.
Carey won a raffle at the sports centre and got the chance to pit her wits against the four-time Commonwealth Games champion.
Nicol, who represented both Scotland and England at international level, put Carey through her paces on Monday evening, teaching her some of the techniques that took him to a World Open and two British Open titles during his career.
Money raised from the raffle will go to the fund for Fiona McLean, a friend of Carey’s who recently died of cancer.
