EPPING golfer Simon Khan has received a late invitation to play at the fourth major of the year, the US PGA Championship, next week.
Khan was one of three players to be handed an invite, having enjoyed the biggest win of his career this season back in May, when he won the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.
The 38-year-old, who is currently ranked 102 in the world, will take his place in the 156-strong field at Whistling Straits, with the tournament teeing off next Thursday (August 12).
