THE end of the season cannot come soon enough for Chingford, who suffered their fifth defeat on the bounce at the weekend.
In the club's penultimate home game, Bury St Edmunds came and conquered the Waltham Wayers, running out 36-15 victors.
The result follows on the back of derby defeats to Woodford and Eton Manor, as well as losses against Sidcup and Old Colfeians.
Chingford will have the chance to exact immediate revenge on Bury, as they make the trip to the fourth-placed side this weekend.
Elsewhere, Woodford are embroiled in relegation trouble after their latest reverse against Letchworth Garden City, succumbing 27-17 at the weekend.
The Highams men are second-bottom with four games remaining. Letchworth are the opponents once again on Saturday.
