WALTHAM Forest stand on the brink of relegation after coming out on the wrong end of a nine-goal thriller at local rivals Waltham Abbey on Saturday.
The Abbotts emerged 5-4 victors at Capershotts after a ding-dong contest, in which the Stags gave everything to the survival cause.
Still, the defeat leaves them six points behind second-bottom Ilford with just three games to play.
