Two West Ham youngsters started for England Under-19’s on Tuesday night as they overcame Finland 1-0 in a friendly.
Blair Turgott and Daniel Potts both started for Noel Blake’s side, who won thanks to a 90th minute penalty from captain John Lundstram.
Turgott started in an advanced midfield role, playing the full 90 minutes for Blake’s side. The 18 year-old could have scored, but was unlucky not to fully connect with his audacious scissor-kick.
Left-back Potts also played the full 90 minutes as he picked up his first cap for the Under-19’s having previously featured at Under-18 level.
