Jussi Jaaskelainen is aiming to win against Liverpool to produce back-to-back victories after their 3-1 win over Chelsea.
Jaaskelainen, speaking to West Ham TV, said: “It was massive to stop our losing run.
“Some teams lose a couple and then go six or seven without a win, so ending our run at just two games is great. It would be nice to get back-to-back wins.”
In a tough run of games which started with two defeats at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, the Hammers were able to turn the tables on the champions of Europe and aim to do the same against Liverpool.
If the Hammers record a victory against the Reds they will put six points between the two clubs. It has been a good start to the season for West Ham, but they will be keen to not let up and hope to deal Liverpool with the same blow that stunned Chelsea.
