Two West Ham youngsters have been drafted into the Republic of Ireland Under-19 squad that will face Czech Republic in February.
Kieran Sadlier and Sean Maguire have both been selected as the Irishmen look to continue their strong qualifying campaign for the UEFA Championships.
Sadlier, who is currently in the development squad, has played a pivotal role in helping West Ham Under-21s qualify for the elite group stage in the Barclays Professional Development League.
His fellow countryman, Maguire, only signed for the Hammers at the start of this year after an impressive start to his career with Waterford. The 18-year-old was joint top scorer in the League of Ireland first division in 2012.
Republic of Ireland manager, Paul Doolin, told the Irish FA's website: “It’s a decent batch of players. We’ll be looking for good performances from individual players and build on what we did in Luxembourg.”
The Republic of Ireland enjoyed a successful first phase to their qualifying campaign in October, finishing joint top of their group alongside Germany.
