West Ham United striker Andy Carroll has been called up to the England squad for the end of season friendly matches against the Repulic of Ireland and Brazil.
The 24-year-old, who is on loan from Liverpool, last represented the Three Lions in October 2012 but a strong end to the season, which has seen Carroll score six goals in his last 12 matches, has sealed his return to the international fold.
Carroll is coming to the end of his spell at Upton Park but the Hammers are keen to make it a permanent deal next season.
