WEST Ham boss Alan Curbishley has urged his team to bounce-back from heavy consecutive defeats against Chelsea and Liverpool.
Having suffered a 4-0 drubbing by the Blues on Saturday, the Hammers then went down by the same scoreline at Anfield last night.
Talking after the defeat at Liverpool, Curbishley said: "We made no impression on Liverpool at all in any area of the pitch.
"We were second best for the second time in five days. I knew they were going to be tough games but I didn't expect those performances.
"We've let ourselves down, but we've got to move on to the next game on Sunday and we've got to try and get ourselves back on track.
"We've played two top sides and they've demonstrated why they're top sides. Their finishing has been clinical and they've looked stronger all over the park. It's something we've got to think on.
"We don't want the season to drift. We're in a bit of no-man's land at the moment. If we get a result we don't seem to go anywhere and if we don't get a result we don't seem to go anywhere.
"But we've got the run-in. In the last six games we've played Liverpool twice and Chelsea. That's been tough but we've now got to attack the opposition we have left and pick some points up."
