WEST Ham are sweating on the availability of defenders Matthew Upson and Jonathan Spector ahead of the trip to Everton tomorrow.
Upson has missed the last two games with a calf injury while utility man Spector is away on international with United States and is not due to arrive back in England until late tonight.
Boss Alan Curbishley will run the rule on the pair before making a decision on their availability for the trip to Goodison Park.
Curbishley told Sky Sports News: "We have one or two people that could return and hopefully if they do they will be included.
"Matty Upson just missed out last week so he might be available this week.
"Jon Spector has gone off to play for the American Olympic team in a qualifying semi-final in the middle of America somewhere.
"He gets back at 10pm on Friday evening so we will have to see where we are on Saturday morning."
Should they both miss the clash then the door could be open for youngster James Tomkins to make his West Ham debut.
The 19-year-old was an unused substitute in the win over Blackburn on Saturday and was in fine form during a reserve team win over Reading in midweek.
