YOUNG striker Freddie Sears has pulled out of the England U19 squad to face Russia tonight, leading to concerns that he may be a doubt for West Ham's clash with Sunderland on Saturday.
The 18-year-old has caused a storm in Hammers last two matches, scoring the match-winner against Blackburn last week and changing the game with his introduction in the 1-1 draw with Everton on Saturday.
However, he pulled out of the U19 squad "through injury", according to the to the club's official website, although no further explanation has been given.
However, late call up Junior Stanislas has joined James Tomkins - who made his Irons debut at Goodison Park - in the Young Lions squad for the friendly at MK Dons tonight.
