(Premier Academy League - Group A)
WEST Ham U18s got back their title bid back on track with a comprehensive victory over Reading at Little Heath on Saturday.
The Academy side, who had lost to Bristol City in their last outing, ran in all four goals in a stunning 20-minute spell before half time.
Triallist Ahmed Abdulla opened the scoring with a curling effort into the top corner.
Anthony Edgar doubled the lead soon after with a low drilled shot from the edge of the box.
Oliver Lee then flicked a Junior Stanislas corner into the net to make it three.
England U19 international Stanislas then wrapped it up just before the interval with a sublime individual goal, the youngster beating a couple of defenders before bending his shot over the keeper and into the net.
Tony Carr's side - who have two games to play, against Leicester and Birmingham - are two points above second-place Arsenal, although the young Gunners have two games in hand.
West Ham: Street, Brookes, Spence, N'Gala (Ashman 60), Miller, Harvey (Okus 60), Kearns, Lee, Edgar, Stanislas (Mantano 60), Ahmed, Abdulla.
