West Ham v Fulham
Premier League, Sunday 1.30pm
LAST MEETING: Fulham 1 West Ham 2 (27-09-08) A quickfire Hammers double at the end of the first half was enough to see them past Fulham earlier this season. Carlton Cole grabbed the first before Matthew Etherington sent the Irons into the break 2-0 up. The Cottagers pulled a goal back from a Danny Murphy penalty but West Ham clung on for the only win at Craven Cottage so far this campaign.
LAST TIME AT UPTON PARK: West Ham 2 Fulham 1 (12-01-08) An early Simon Davies strike gave the Cottagers a surprise lead but that was cancelled out by efforts from Dean Ashton and Anton Ferdinand either side of the interval.
HEAD-TO-HEAD: West Ham 35 wins, Fulham 27 wins, 18 draws
FORM: Roy Hodgson's men have the best defensive record outside the top three in the Premier League, while their home form is also one of the strongest in the division. Their last defeat came against Everton in November and they have since gone nine league games unbeaten.
DANGER MAN: Livewire Andy Johnson has been a constant threat to top flight defences since his Crystal Palace days, and despite failing to find his best form since his £10.5million move from Everton last summer, he remains a tricky customer and will be a handful for Matthew Upson and co.
FUN FACT: James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan is understood to be a keen Fulham fan. The 'World is not Enough' star will be hoping his team won't Die Another Day and can gun down the Hammers on Saturday.
