WEST Ham are understood to be close to agreeing a deal with Sheffield United over the Carlos Tevez affair, according to BBC Sport.
It was ruled that the Blades were entitled to compensation after the Argentinian forward helped keep the Hammers in the Premier League in 2007.
A hearing was scheduled for next week, but it is believed that an agreement has been reached for a total of around £10-15million after a series of payments.
