DAGENHAM and Redbridge's play-off hopes suffered a blow as a late Dennis Oli header ensured they left Gillingham empty-handed.
The Daggers had fallen behind when Mark McCammon pounced to convert after Tony Roberts had kept out John Nutter's effort.
Ben Strevens, back on song, then helped haul the visitors back in the game just before the break, as he cleverly turned to lay on the advancing Sam Saunders, and the winger was left the easy task of tapping in at the back post.
However, John Still's men were to be denied a valuable point as Oli's header two minutes from time secured the points for the Gills.
