WEST HAM midfielder Scott Parker was crowned the club's Hammer of the Year after an outstanding season.

The England international missed the last chunk of the campaign through injury, but he built an impressive partnership with Mark Noble in the centre of the park, and almost helped spur the side to a Europa League place, with the team narrowly missing out.

Midfielder Jack Collison was voted the Young Hammer of the Year after making his breakthrough under Gianfranco Zola and cementing his place in the first team.

Both players were presented with their awards after the team's 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough at Upton Park in their final game of the season.

Junior Stanislas and Carlton Cole scored the goals that secured the three points.
