WEST HAM goalkeeper Rob Green helped England move a step closer to qualify the World Cup.

The Hammers stopper was virtually a spectator as the Three Lions strolled to a 6-0 victory against Andorra at Wembley yesterday evening.

England now need one win from their remaining three games to qualify for the World Cup, which will be held in South Africa next year.

A brace from ex-Hammer Jermain De Foe, one from former West Ham midfielder Frank Lampard, two from Wayne Rooney and a goal from Peter Crouch handed England an easy victory.

Green's West Ham teammates defender Matthew Upson was rested and striker Carlton Cole took part in the warm up but failed to make it on to the pitch.
