WEST HAM are reportedly close to agreeing a deal for Inter Milan midfielder Luis Jiminez, while manager Gianfranco Zola is also thought to be keen on another San Siro star, Mancini.
The Telegraph claim West Ham chief executive Scott Duxbury held talks, alongside technical director Gianluca Nani, with Milan this week about a dual move.
It is understood that 25-year-old Jiminez will complete a loan move to Upton Park, while a permanent deal for the pair could cost up to £22million.
Jiminez is the captain of Chile, while Mancini is a Brazilian international and an exciting winger.
