JONATHAN Spector helped America come back from the dead to book their place in the semi-finals of the FIFA Confederations Cup.
The US had to win against Egypt on Sunday and hope Brazil triumph against Italy and see a six goal swing in both games in order to progress.
West Ham defender Spector crossed for Clint Dempsey to head in America's third goal on 71 minutes. Charlie Davis scrambled home their opener on 21 minutes while Michael Bradley added a second after a neat one-two from Landon Donovan.
Improbably, Brazil won by the same 3-0 score to send America through.
