LEE BOWYER looks set to complete his switch from West Ham to Birmingham City after Blues boss Alex McLeish revealed the midfielder had 'pledged his allegiance' to the Midlands club.
The 32-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at St Andrews, playing a key role in the team's promotion back to the Premier League.
"I don't know if the Is or the Ts have been formally dotted and crossed but Lee has pledged his allegiance to Birmingham," he said. "He will become a permanent Birmingham player and a worthy addition to our squad. He did well for us last season."
