WEST HAM travel to Austria on Monday for a two-week schedule that Gianfranco Zola hopes will get his players into gear in time for the new season next month.

The squad will fly to Bad Radkersburg after Sunday's friendly against Grays Athletic, before taking on local side SVL Flavia in Wagna on Wednesday July 15, while they will also play Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen in Bad Waltersdorf on Saturday July 18.

A game against Turkish side Bursaspor will follow on Wednesday July 22 and the tour will be rounded off with a match against ND Mura 05 in the Slovenian town of Murska Sobota.

Zola said of the tour on the Hammers' website: “It should be very good for us. It is an important part of the season and it will be good to get everyone together and preparing in the right way. We are determined to improve next season and this will help us a lot.”
