STRIKER Diego Tristan will look for a return to Spain after he was not offered a new deal by West Ham, according to reports.
Sky Sports claim the Spain international is weighing up his options after Gianfranco Zola opted not to extend the frontman's stay at Upton Park.
Tristan scored three goals in 14 appearances for the Hammers after signing on a short-term contract in October last year.
However, he has failed to convince Zola and assistant manager Steve Clarke that he is worthy of a permanent deal.
“My experience with West Ham United was positive even though we are not able to continue with the project,” he said. “I am satisfied with my time in England and I am looking to move on.”
