WEST HAM striker Freddie Sears was on the scoresheet as England Under 21s defeated Macedonia 2-1.
The Hammers forward, who is spending the season on-loan at Championship side Crystal Palace, turned in a James Tomkins knock down following a Junior Stanislas corner. The goal drew the Three Lions level after the hosts had taken the lead.
Midfielder Lee Cattermole secured the win with a late penalty.
