WEST HAM midfielder Valon Behrami could be the subject of a bid from Italian giants Juventus in January, according to reports.

The Daily Mail claims club boss Cira Ferrara has identified the right side of his defence as an area to strengthen during the winter window, and he is reported to be an admirer of the versatile Switzerland international.

Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco is thought to have earmarked Arsenal pair Emmanuel Eboue and Bacary Sagna, as well as Manchester City full-back Pablo Zabaleta as potential targets.

Behrami's ability to play anywhere along the midfield may work in his favour and, with West Ham's financial problems having been well-documented, a bid could be forthcoming from the Italians.
