WEST HAM boss Gianfranco Zola has reportedly targeted Lyon midfielder Kim Kallstrom during the January transfer window.

The Hammers will offer £3.5million for the Swedish international, according to the News of the World.

However, Kallstrom, who is understood to be keen on a move to the Premier League, is also interesting Blackburn Rovers and Portsmouth.

Money is tight for the Upton Park side, and they may have to sell in order fund a pursuit of Kallstrom, while Zola is also said to be keeping tabs on Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh, after reportedly missing out on the Morrocan international during the summer.
