WEST HAM Utd have been rapped at a tribunal for how the club ignored ex-boss Alan Curbishley's contract.
A football arbitration hearing today ruled that Curbishley WAS constructively dismissed, last September.
He walked out after Aton Ferdinand and George McCartney were sold from under his nose to Premier League rival's Sunderland.
Curbishley insisted he would not have quit if the club had stuck to a clause in his contract that said he had the final say on transfers.
Today, A Premier League managers' arbitration ruled the club had broken that contract, as it upheld his claim.
A "delighted" Curbishley said he had been left with no choice but to resign.
"My authority and integrity were undermined and my position was made untenable. I now wish to put this entire matter behind me."
More to follow.
