GIANFRANCO Zola is confident that his West Ham team can chalk up a vital win against Burnley at Upton Park today (Saturday).
A victory would haul the Hammers further away from the relegation zone, and they will have no better chance to do that against a team who have developed a tag as notoriously bad travellers.
“It's a big opportunity for us,” said Zola. “We need to get a victory in our ground. It's been a while since we had a victory so it's important, we know that. If we keep playing the football the way we're playing right now and improve certain things, we have a good chance.”
Burnley have a terrific record at their Turf Moor home, but five defeats and a draw on the road will give Zola and his players plenty of encouragement heading into today's game.
