WEST HAM boss Gianfranco Zola has opted to partner young Zavon Hines with Guillermo Franco in attack against Manchester United.
Hines comes in for the injured Carlton Cole, who will be out of action until the new year with knee ligament damage.
Young defender Manuel Da Costa has been dropped to the bench, with James Tomkins coming in to partner Danny Gabbidon in the centre, after Matthew Upson failed to make the game with a hamstring injury.
Radoslav Kovac shares the midfield spot with Scott Parker, while Jack Collison and Junior Stanislas have been deployed on the wings.
For Manchester United, Darren Fletcher comes in at right-back, with Gary Neville being paired with Wes Brown in the centre.
Darren Gibson has been employed in midfield after his impressive performance in the Carling Cup in midweek.
