WEST HAM will unveil Avram Grant as their new manager after the Portsmouth boss signed a three-year deal with the Upton Park club, according to the Daily Mail.

Grant had emerged as the red-hot favourite to succeed Gianfranco Zola, who was sacked last week, after taking Pompey to the FA Cup final on Saturday.

And it appears that Hammers owners David Sullivan and David Gold have moved swiftly to secure the Israeli manager, following their pledge to fans that they would install an 'experienced, high-calibre manager'.

Grant's path to joining West Ham was cleared when Portsmouth administrator Andrew Andronikou revealed that he would 'not stand in his way' should he wish to leave.
