JONATHAN Spector has revealed that he would be happy to remain at West Ham beyond the one year remaining on his current contract.

The USA international, who will line up against England at the World Cup in South Africa this summer, featured heavily along the back four for the Hammers last season.

And he is keen to extend his stay at Upton Park.

“I have one year left on my contract and I would be happy to see out my contract,” Spector told skysports.com.

“I am happy to stay at the club, but it is up to the owners.

“I don't know what is going to happen as I have not had any discussions and there have been no discussions with my agent.”
