WEST HAM have banned the vuvuzela under health and safety laws.
Club officials fear the iconic horn, which was a controversial hit at the World Cup in South Africa, could be a weapon in the wrong hands.
But some fans already think the long-funnelled instrument is a threat in the right hands, because of the ear-splitting noise it makes.
A club statement read: "Under the current health and safety regulations at the stadium, which already disallows musical bands, we would not allow them into the stadium as they could be considered a weapon.
"They could also be considered to be an annoyance to others."
The vuvuzela has already been banned from seven Premier League clubs so far, including Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
