CARLTON COLE has vowed that this campaign will be so different from the disappointment of last season.
West Ham Utd went close to relegation in May and hitman Cole insists every player is now responsible for making sure that history does not repeat itself.
"We know we didn't have the best of seasons last year," he said. "Everyone is up for this one.
"Everyone has to look to themselves to help the team and we are pulling in the same direction. That is only going to bode well."
“We are going to try our best to get the right results on the pitch. The chairmen, the manager and the players all want that. We are going to make getting results a priority."
Cole is confident that he can have a massive influence on the campaign, after a litany of injuries hampered him during the last campaign.
"I always believe If I do well the team does well," he insisted.
