WEST HAM vice-chairman Karren Brady is confident the club will win the right to be housed in the Olympic Stadium after the London 2012 Games.
The club have submitted their joint bid with Newham Council for the stadium to the Olympic Park Legacy Company, but are keen to negotiate exclusive 'lock-out' talks for six months, whereby West Ham would be the only party to discuss a deal.
Brady said: “We'll hear by the end of the month whether we've got it (the lock out deal).
“I would never say I'm 100 per cent but I expect to get it. It's a no-brainer and it's absolutely right for the club and community.”
It is understood that West Ham's main rivals for the stadium are American entertainment company AEG, who own the O2 Arena.
However, a new twist has emerged, with capital Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur also understood to be holding informal talks with the OPLC.
