WEST HAM boss Avram Grant travels to Blackburn this weekend with the club's owners' words ringing in his ears after he was reportedly told that he must record at least one win from the next three games.

The first of those takes place at Ewood Park on Saturday, where the Hammers will encounter a Rovers team in a mini crisis of their own, following the sacking of Sam Allardyce this week.

Ironically, Allardyce is allegedly being lined up to replace Grant, should he fail to reach his target, and his old team could push him nearer employment with victory.

However, while West Ham have struggled this season and were totally outclassed by Manchester City at Upton Park last week, the pressure is not as intense away from home and they may be able to relax slightly in front of the opposition's fans.

We on the sports desk believe Grant will find the win he has been told he needs at the first attempt.

Prediction: Blackburn 1 West Ham 2
